An unknown warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000.
If not replaced, engine will not be operating efficiently and could result in catastrophic engine damage. My vehicle although out of warranty has not even reached 40,000 miles. Dealer provided estimate of $1,134.81 + tax.
While traveling at freeway speeds the vehicle's emergency braking system activated without the operator initiating the system resulting in rear wheels locking up, causing the vehicle to go into a rear wheel skid.
The contact stated that his wife was driving approximately 5 MPH, the power steering suddenly malfunctioned and the steering wheel became extremely difficult to turn in either direction. After turning off and restarting the vehicle, the failure persisted.
