What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
During low-to-moderate throttle input within approximately the 3500-5000 RPM range, moderate-to-severe throttle hesitation occurs when required to increase throttle input. This causes a chugging, struggling, stuttering, misfiring feeling and very delayed response from the vehicle.
Holding the throttle open/steady between 3500-5000 RPM and maintaining speed the Throttle/RPM's will start to shutter/jerk. The Non NA/US models of this vehicle have an update that fixes this issue.
Motorcycle suffers from "jerky throttle", causing inconsistent acceleration or deceleration without throttle input. This has resulted in near collisions with two vehicles. Issue presents itself more prominently in RPM ranges of 4,000 or below. High RPM jerkiness is still present but less impactful.
