Not exactly sure when the engine cut off but when I came to a stop it was no longer running and onstar automatically came on asking if everyone was ok since the vehicle had been in a crash. Luckily me and my friend riding along were not injured.
Driver side mirror blind spot monitoring system suddenly âsteady burnsâ. Will not light up when another vehicle is in vehicles blind spot. BSM stays on even after the car is off and has been off for prolonged periods of time (30+ minutes) leading to the battery draining.

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the temperature gauge indicated that the engine was overheating, prompting the contact to discontinue driving the vehicle. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the engine.
The contact stated that the traffic control indicator and the check engine warning lights were illuminated. The "Service Power Steering - Drive with Care" message was displayed on the instrument panel.
Lost steering assist while turning left at intersection, steering wheel became very hard to turn. Warning message displayed on dash indicating steering malfunction. Assist returned a few seconds later.
As a result of this, my car battery died when not driven for a week, regardless of the condition/age of the battery. This has occured consistently since I bought the car new and has left me stranded on multiple occasions.
