The gas tank has expanded and spread wider than the supports on either side of the motorcycle, causing it to be unsupported and unsafe.
The gas tank has expanded and become potentially unsupported. Also the fuel hose from the pump to the filter is faulty and has shrunk, not allowing fuel to flow to the engine.
I'm resubmitting this complaint as I'm under the impression my previous one for the same cause was not filed. Issue is I noticed a deformed/loose fuel tank on my brand new, 2009 ducati gt 1000 motorcycle upon delivery from the dealership.
I just bought a brand new ducati gt 1000 motorcycle from lexington motorsports, kentucky, which was delivered to my house on 3 october 2010 with a deforming/loosening fuel tank.
Gas tank has deformed causing it to become loose from the frame to the point it had to be secured with straps. I have owned the motorcycle (purchased new) for 19 months and in that time the gas tank has been replaced twice due to this deformation.
