He found the hoses inside the tank and those connecting to the fuel pump had literally disintegrated. Pieces of the delaminated hose found their way into the fuel pump. Had I been driving the bike, this could have led to the fire due to leaky hoses. Now the hoses & fuel pump need replacement.
Alternator (stator) failed 3x in 2000 miles of vehicle operation - causes battery to discharge and engine to stop abruptly - repaired by dealer each time, other associated parts replaced also still the defect remains. Certainly seems to be design defect!
Motorcycle experiencing problem with the clutch. On one occasion dealer replaced the clutch, was unable to engage. At another incident a bolt broke inside the cutch area. Currently, vehicle experiencing a slippage, and dealer informed consumer that clutch needed to be replaced again.
