This was second time that vehicle took off forward while shift lever was in reverse. Once vehicle took off, consumer lost control and went through some bushes, and almost went into a building. Consumer felt someone could have been killed.
I would also like to mention that I had my van in for service on 7/01/05 for noises in the front end and vibrations while driving. Dealer replaced sway bar, and balanced tires. (van was still under warranty) this took care of some of the problem. I have had ongoing problems with the front end of this van.
Consumer applied the brakes and pedal went to the floor. The brakes had less braking power. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that brakes pads and rotors needed to be replaced.
