What owners report

Was notified by ford motor com. That the speed control on our ford rv was unsafe and needed service. I took the vehicle to a ford dealer who disconnected the device and was told that a replacement unit would be installed in jan or feb of 08 and I would be notified once again. No word yet. Why?
I received a recall notice from ford (recall #05s28). As instructed, on september 20, 2007, I had the cruise control disconnected at a ford dealership and was told the part is on order. I have contacted the dealer many times and the part is apparently unavailable to resolve ford's defective equipment.
