Air struts and axleshaft compromised and vehicle is unsafe to drive according to lexus and they are looking to charge 10 to 12k to repair only a few years old and has done this for years now
Vgrs recall 10v218000 toyota/lexus had a recall for 2009 and up models of the ls vehicle for steering not returning to center during driving operations or complete locked turns. Which can cause a accident. This recall should have started in 2008 and not just 2009 and up. 2008 the ls460/600 first debuted.
I'm not sure if this will lead to some type of abs brake failure. I did an online search for this noise and it looks to be a very common problem with the ls models. Numerous people have had this same problem. It turns out, it is the brake actuator and lexus is very aware of the problem.
