What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I notice a strong smell of gas inside my Mercedes 2011 AMG-CL 65. I also notice the fuel gage decreased after a day. This could have caused a fire. I took the car to [dealer] dealership and was told that this is common, but I see no recalls.
After about 15 minutes of driving saw white smoke in rear view mirror. Then I saw white smoke coming from front of vehicle from under the hood. Pulled over raised hood and saw smoke and flames.
