My husband and I own two g55's purchased on the same day. They both started leaking fuel infrequently within two weeks of each other. You can actually see the fuel dropping to the ground and smell the gas. I filed a complaint for the other vin as well. That complaint number is 10490150.
My husband and I own two of the exact, same car! They are both leaking gas infrequently. It looks to be coming from a clamp. We have video of the leak. Here is the link on youtube.
I have recently purchased a 2005 mercedes g-55 which had an aftermarket dvd system with screens in both front headrests. Upon removing the headrests to install seat covers, we discovered the dvd installer had cut into the headrest posts, thusly ruining the integrity of the headrests.
