What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Fuel tank has expanded to the point that it cannot be attached to the motorcycle as designed. Either the front mounting bumpers need to be modified (reduced in size), or the rear mounting point (rubber spacer, metal spacers) needs modification. Lengthwise expansion appears to be approximately 5mm.
This could cause a fuel leak eventually. The maker of the cycle does not notify the consumer upon purchase.
Rear master cylinder is sucking air into the brake lines. Rear brake no longer works. Fix is to bleed rear brake, but problem resurfaces again. This problem is well documented at:http://forum.guzzitech.com/forum/188/4624.html?start=10 apparently a result of the use of aluminum and steel parts in the master cylinder…
Motorcycle experiences sudden loss of power as a result of fuel line becoming disconnected from fuel pump inside fuel tank. This has occurred to me twice; once while traveling on an interstate highway at highway speeds, and again on a secondary road.
