2007 piaggio mp3 250 scooter with a faulty steering mechanism. Consumer states that wheels did not turn even thought the handle bars did. He also states that pinch bolt was not inspected before it left the factory and was extremely loose.
Steering handlebar clamp bolt loosened causing loss of steering control. I exited my driveway on the morning of december 6th, 2007, turned the handlebar of the scooter to the right and accelerated from a standstill. The scooter headed straight across the street and hit the rear of a neighbors vehicle.
