What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
We have taken it in for service on several occasions as the front end of the car will drop down, the vsc and traction control light come on, and the car is uncontrollable to drive. This has happened 5 times, all at completely random times. The first time it happened was at 4,900 miles.
No steering, no brakes, etc. We could have been seriously injured on killed with no warning and no way to control the vehicle. The toyota dealer in savannah thought they had fixed the problem. The car is now at the selling dealer in daytona beach, fl for repairs.
