What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Since the vehicle was new there has been a problem with the fuel gauge. There are numerous others who have mentioned a problem with vespa fuel gauges on various websites as well. When I brought this to the attention of the dealer, who is now out of business, he said to rely on the fuel gauge light.
I have a brand new 2007 vespa lx 150 scooter which I purchased on july 19, 2008. I have owned it for 10 days and have only 35 miles on it. Tonight while riding I experienced a stuck throttle which could have resulted in severe injuries to myself or others had I been riding in traffic.
