What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
While going 55 car dropped torque and geared down forcing car rev very high rpms, nose dip. Jerk me into on coming lane. Luckily nothing was coming.
One day was running 75 today won't shift out of 2nd gear transmission holdback feels like
The front windows detach and drop down inside the door during cold weather, even when the window has not been operated. This has caused a loss of visibility as well as a loss of protection during a blizzard, and again during a torrential rain storm while driving.
Then all of a sudden, the engine jerks to life, and I can drive the car normally, up until I have to refill the tank. The stalling doesn't repeat itself until the next quarter tank.
The igniters went off and I lost power steering ability. I lost the external fuel pump which was not even molested by any means. The rims were damaged in a way that one needed to be changed. Days before the incident while traveling on the njturnpike, sensors on the battery burned and I lost power steering ability.
