Steering head ball bearing gets sloppy writhing 1-4000 miles creating a death wobble in steering around 40mph.
Around 45 mph or when slowing down, the bike begins to form a speed wobble which is extremely dangerous. Bike has 4,200 miles on it. Changed the head bearings to tapered roller bearings and it's been fixed. This has been a documented issue for years.
