Embarked on a road trip at approximately 9:30 am after traveling about 4 miles the entire motorhome went into a violent and severe swaying motion. I slowed the veh and pulled to shoulder of the road, inspected all tires, nothing apparent or obvious.
Traveling along rt 89 in new hampshire could hear rumbling noise and when we got to rt 4 in vermont the rear end dropped and started dragging on the road. After checking both rear swing arms snapped at the rear axle. If this had happened while driving 60 - 65 mph on interstate rt 89 we could have been hurt or killed.
