No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed of the recall. The contact sustained injuries to the chest, left arm and shoulder, and the head. The contact had bruises on both legs and arms, and a large laceration on right shin which required medical attention.
When driving car, it feels rough and is hard to accelerate so I took it to the dealer and was told it was the transfer case. The transfer case seems to be a manufacture problem and is common among these cars. It's unsafe and almost impossible to drive on the highway .
In a parking lot traveling at 7 mph approx, applied the brakes and the psm (stability management) lights and buzzers came on. Lost all brakes on the car and could not stop. Pumped the brakes and still no stopping capability. Had to hit a pole to avoid pedestrians and other cars.
The driver's side air bag did not deploy. The contact sustained chest and neck injuries , bumps and bruises, and was transported to a hospital. Tischer porsche requested that the contact take the vehicle to collision works, inc to investigate why the air bag did not deploy.
In the last two months, consumer had two accident directly related to the perelli tire tread. (nar)
Vehicle failed on at least three occasions to initiate abs steering to stay in lane on snow packed road on downhill grade. Brakes initially grabbed and four wheel drive would not react to driver input to obtain steering control during prolonged slide. Vehicle was equipped as sold without modifications.
