When pulling into a shopping center parking space, my mother applied the brakes to slow down, but the vehicle seemed to surge and hit the car in front. It then surged again and pushed that car into another.
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Air Bag System malfunctioned and the air bag light was illuminated. The contact sustained a neck injury and hit her head. The front passenger sustained back inquires and both required medical attention. The vehicle was towed and deemed destroyed. A police report was filed.
