What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Despite this catastrophic structural failure and extreme G-forces, the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) failed completely: no front, side, or curtain airbags deployed, and seat belt pretensioners remained inactive. In contrast, all three front airbags deployed in the striking vehicle.
The air bags failed to deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. As a result, the contact sustained an injury to the neck, back, chest, and left arm. Medical attention was required, and the ambulance was called to the scene. A police report was filed.
The screen in the car does say to use brakes, but that is inconsistent with the sales people, the manual, and the video. Moreover, it is a flaw in the system if it requires you to brake but will operate without using the brakes. Impossible to read screen and back up at same time.
Both tail light assemblies has failed three times each. Changing the bulb doesn't resolve the issue. When driving the car with the ECO start/stop on, the car will roll and then the car will stop and say "Transmission car not in park", and you have to put the car in park then turn the car back on.
When starting my car and moving it into the reverse position or drive it starts to sometimes stalls. It doesn't happen all the time but does happen. It tells me the car is not in park. I brought it to a shop and they said it's the crankshaft sensor and there is a recall for cars like mine but not my specific vin.
On 6/12/2024, my right engine mounts collapsed and needed immediate repair to keep the engine secure. On 7/6/2026, I took my car for service and was informed via video that the right engine mounts had collapsed again and required replacement.
