It was unknown if any warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that no injuries were sustained. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a collision repair facility. The contact stated he was unaware of the cause of the brake failure as well as what was repaired.
I am being stranded in the dark in the cold with a car i cannot leave the key in or someone could steal the car, the doors will not lock with key in ignition.
The Brake Assist warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that upon depressing the brake pedal harder, the brake pedal slightly travelled down and bounced back. Additionally, the steering wheel shuddered, and the vehicle failed to respond. The contact allowed the vehicle to gradually decelerate independently.
The contact stated he used the parking brake to stop the vehicle. The contact stated that the brake assist warning light was illuminated after the failure had occurred. The contact continued driving the vehicle at 5 MPH to a nearby gas station and continued to use the parking brake to stop the vehicle.
The contact stated that the rearview camera would fail to activate while reversing. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the human interface module failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
Hid headlights moisture accumulation inside housing manufacturing defect cause is either a crack in headlight housing or seal could cause damage to bulbs and/or ballast/wiring
The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shuddered while shifting gears. Serpentini chevrolet buick of orville (1107 n main st, orrville, [ZIP]) was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was repaired three times with an oil change while two unknown transmission parts were replaced.
It also shows that wires with these head assemblies have been melting make it more likely as a potential fire hazard. I check the driver side as well and it appears to be on the verge of cracking as well as the pictures show.
