What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact stated that the driver was traveling approximately 65 mph, the power steering failed without warning. The vehicle was shaking violently making it extremely difficult for the contact to control the steering wheel.
This resulted in a frontal impact, but the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle is totaled.
The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries and a police report was filed. The vin was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 25,000.
I truly believe the so called four wheel anti-lock brakes failed. The air bags never deployed either! After the crash the right front tire had a huge hole in the side wall and I am not too sure that this wasn't part of the problem. The torn part of the tire is sticking out and seems like it failed too.
Vehicle was involved in driver's side collision. Both doors on left side do not operate properly. Replacements parts are not being manufactured.
During the past two years I have re the luster and over head dome light flicker. Head lights very dim on driving also I have replaced on this vehicle the fuel throttle and sensor, a crank sensor a cam sensor, a temp sensor 4 power steering pumps new the power steering rack and assembly wheel hubs and bearings, all new…
I bought 2005 chevrolet trailblazer and the fuel gauge is defective. It is crazy to hear beep sounding all the time telling me the gauge is empty when I know for sure is not. I wish it could be fixed, because I have many others things in my plate that need to worry, I really don't need another one.
Driving 6 people to pittsburgh international airport at 3 am 8/5/17 on the parkway to catch a flight for a vacation when noticed low beam headlights were not working. Do not know how long I was driving before this was noticed.
