What owners report

The air bags did not deploy. The contact's sustained minor injuries and bruising to the head and both arms. The contact sustained a concussion. Medical attention was not received. A police report was filed.
Dt: consumer's wife worked at a place where she parked by concrete posts. When she was backing out of parking space, the seat back malfunctioned, causing her to hit the side mirror. Consumer checked vehicle when wife got home and seat seemed to be locked in place.
I bought the car in 2005 and recently the airbag light has come on and remains on and I cannot get my horn to work. I also smell gas in the winter when starting the car (have been to several places to find a leak). Visibility wipers are not working properly.
I was backing out of my parking turning my squeaky steering wheel and the air bag light came on. I have almost had several accidents because then my horn stopped when the air bag light came on. So I checked the cruise control that don't work either now none of the buttons behind the steering wheel work.
Been having electrical problems on going with the interior lights blinking on and off even when the car is parked and ignition is off. The electrical problems occurs approximately every 5-6 months increments, causing the battery to go dead. Can be driving down the road and the car will just cut off.
The steering wheel squeaks when turning. Usually when it is cold weather, below 60 degrees or so. Took it to dealer who said that it is coming from the steering box and there is no danger. It is safe to drive and to "live with it".
Issue #2 vehicle engine surges suddenly when stopped while the driver has their foot on the brake and not touching the accelerator at all. The idle jumps around anywhere from 1,000 - 2000 rpm and then settles back down to normal idle on it's own after a few seconds.
Splitting dashboard I noticed that is was a slight slit in the dashboard throughout the summer it started getting bigger, as time went on it has gotten almost half foot long.
