What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Front storage bin lid vibrated the latches loose and unlatched, it caught the wind at 60 mph and it broke the lid off flying in to traffic. I believe the sun decomposed the foam insulation making the lid not tight when closed, also the lid I made of cheap plastic which made it easier to brake off its hinges.
Several times a seatbelt recall notice was sent to me for my chevy van (coachman motorhome) and twice I've sent it back stating that the dealership that they listed for the repair refused to fix it. The service manager of the listed establishment tells me that I need to take it to a dealership that is an hour away.
While driving 55 mph spare tire and rear bumper sheared off. Driver had the vehicle towed to the dealer for analysis, and mechanic replaced both spare tire and bumper.
