What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The tire shredded right in the middle of the tread, and the belt cord completely came apart and blew out. 10 months later, the same thing occurred with the passenger-side rear tire on a state road in Massachusetts. The same damage occurred with the belt and cords internally disintegrating and blowing the tire out.
We had note a big cut in the vinyl floor. So we decided to removed for repair, because it's not cover by the garanty, but the dealer said that there's a lot of problem this year with the floor. (so there's clearly a problem with the floor) then we realized that the whole front floor was black.
When owners complained
NHTSA complaints by filing year. The peak shows at what age the problems show up most.
What to check before buying
