What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the passengerâs side window located next to the entry door was loosened and exposed. The window was a single-pane, frameless model measuring approximately 24X12 inches, which opened from the bottom by a cranking mechanism.
The contact replaced the passenger's side windshield wiper by herself; however, the failure recurred. The contact then replaced the passenger's side windshield arm and blade. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and recommended replacing the faulty part with a shorter windshield wiper.
Two incidents happened on our initial RV trip in this new RV. First, in a rainstorm the passenger windshield wiper kept catching on the edge of the windshield and finally broke completely off of the windshield wiper arm leaving the driver with only one wiper during a heavy downpour on an interstate highway.
