What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
There was no fire or air bag deployment. The fire department was on the scene. The vehicle was towed to fleetwood rv inc located at [address], decatur, [ZIP]; phone number: [phone] where the tire was replaced. The original tire was sent to the manufacturer.
First I noticed the bedroom window fogging up. Service folks told me the seal was broken, and only option was to replace it. I have an extended warranty, but windows apparently are not covered. They estimated $800 to fix window. I decided I could live with it.
Thereafter it appeared that during the cold period to include rain it was the early spring of 2007 when we noticed the windows around the corners begun to cloud just slightly around the driver's side window. The seal was then checked and service was indicated that it was good.
The dual pane windows are obstructed by a gaseous fog due to the failure of the seal between the glass. I would accept that one, possibly two dual pane windows may lose their seal and fog over time but every window on this vehicle is fogged to the point of making it unsafe to drive.
The contact stated that all of the windows in the vehicle became covered with fog which made it difficult to see out of the drivers side window. The windows were dual pane and the contact was concerned that the moisture trapped between the panes caused the fog to appear.
All the stationay windows are "fogging up" in my 2005 fleetwood motor home. The driver side window I can hardly see the rear view mirror through the glass. Because I can't see outer vehicle. My concern is the driver's side window is a safety concern..
