What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The dual pane thermal side windows have fogged up to the extent of not being able to drive the vehicle due to not having access to visibility of the side mirrors. In fact, we were stopped, thankfully not ticketed, bystate police because of lack of visibility
While driving the dash was jumping up and down approximately two inches. When I checked all the screws sheared off and became free from the body and was jumping up and down. Also while driving I noticed that the passenger side wall is coming apart from the floor of the rv.
Both front brake calipers became corroded and would only partially allow brake pad release, causing excessive heat from constant contact with the rotors. This resulted in brake failure, melted abs sensor and warped rotors. Repair required replacement of rotors, brake calipers and pads.
After fixing the sheared off screws all 3 of them on the angle piece by the fire wall my dash is still moving. Fleetwood put 3 screws inon both sides. I really think this should be a recall since the dash fell 2 inches when they sheared off.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 fleetwood terra. While driving 50 mph, the walls cracked and detached from the chassis. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but did not offer any assistance. The failure mileage was 23,383.
My boyfriend and I purchased our new rv in may 2013. We took it for our first outing in june 2013. As my boyfriend turned a right corner at about 5 to 7 mph, the slide out counter extension rolled out and smashed into the dinette set, directly across. The slide out counter is secured by a single, sliding latch.
