The mechanic stated that the ball joints were corroded and detached from the sockets. In addition, the pitman arms were not lubricated. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls on the vehicle. On april 8, 2007, the vehicle was involved in a crash.
Recall 96v135000 ; the pittman arm was not lubricated enough which caused the ball joints to become corroded. Called manufacturer, but this vehicle is not included in the recall.
Car was hit head-on and fire broke out in the engine compartment.
Drivers airbag did not deploy upon impact; airbags deployed after officer existed vehicle; driver's shoulder/seat belt did not hold; hit a tractor trailer
Frontal collision, impact 12:00, speed 50 mph, driver's air bag did not deploy . Tt
Vehicle was at complete stop hit at 6:00 position, driver side collapsed into recline position causing injuries. Tt
Air bag light is on, cruise controlnot working correctly. All these things are safety related and should be fixed. I think steering wheel should be repaired free of charge, since it's a major problem.
The control arm dropped and hit the road, causing loss of steering. Lucky for us we were going slow turning into a place of business, if we were going fast it could have been bad news. This car started a squeak on the front a little while ago, I guess it had something to do with it.
