What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Customer saw that his vehicle could catch fire. Customer was told the parts would not be ready until the end of the year. The consumer stated his private mechanic took care of the problem.
The first happened 2 years, and in the past two years all four blew out. Spoke to the manufacturer and there wereno recalls. No one knows why these tires have blown out. The consumer was driving under normal driving conditions on the interstate at 65 mph. There were no crashes or injuries because of the blow outs.
The tires were squealing but we wer0e not slowing down as quickly as we should have been. As it turns out the front wheels and the tag axle wheels were the only ones doing any braking. The rear dual axle had no braking due to the brake line at the right rear dual wheels had rubbed through while we were traveling.
