What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
During the crash, the seatbelt system failed in a way that caused severe force to my body rather than restraining me properly. The seatbelt detached and violently pulled my body, resulting in significant injuries.
I pulled the fuse for the radio thinking that was the problem, but the sound returned, still blasting static from the speakers and now my side cameras and blind spot warnings do not work. This is not just an annoying problem, it is a serious safety issue.
7 year old child sitting behind father when vehicle was hit from behind causing intrusion into the vehicle pushing the rear seat area forward; from the impact, driver's seatback yielded/failed significantly into the child's rear seating position area causing permanent catastrophic brain injuries to the child.
Prior to this incident, both a aaa repair shop and a honda dealership examined the vehicle after the owner complained about two previous sudden acceleration incidents. The aaa shop drove the vehicle, found nothing wrong, and towed the car to a honda dealership.
Dropped my car off for oil change and routine maintenance. Millennium honda service crashed my car and caused obvious damage to the front end of my car . Plastic undercarriage pieces are flying off as I am driving . Dealership is neglecting to accept responsibility and fix my repairs, which they obvious caused .
I couldn't control steering or brakes and hit a fire hydrant at the end. I asked the insurance company to contact honda for details know the different control units and reading but they didn't want to go that route.
When the engine is cold there is a sudden acceleration when the vehicle is in reverse or forward and in motion normally in a parking lot or backing out of my garage.
I got in a car accident and one of the straps popped out. It was always snug and wiggled before. Please investigate this product for a recall. Luckily one strap still held on. Witnesses said she wasn't buckled properly but I always check to see if the base wiggles.
