What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
1994 honda accord ex front end collision which resulted in $4500.00 in damage, and the airbags did not deploy. The car was driven by my 18 year old son.
Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. Seat belts were in use. No injuries were sustained. The vehicle was totaled.
The first abs light came on during my drive to work. So, I had that replace because the o-ring was bad. The next problem with the abs is the wheel sensor, which I had to replace twice. Next is the 98 odessey, which I refuse to fix because honda has a problem with their abs system.
Air bags deployed without being in a collision accident. Both of the bags popped out right in my drive way.
On 3/31/2005 while driving on the highway at normal highway speeds, the engine of my 1994 accord (130k miles) completely stalled (no power). I was in the left hand lane and as quickly as I could I pulled onto the side of the road. I almost ran over by the truck on the 1st lane.
Since buying new tires from firestone in 12/99, I've had many flats due to leaks.I've taken it to firestone and tires plus to repair multiple times. Firestone has new computer system so can only track it back to 1/26/01. I don't think I have the receipts for all dates but I do for the following dates listed.
