What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The car rolled forward with me partially outside the vehicle, dragging me until it struck a tree. This incident reflects a critical failure in the vehicle’s electrical/safety systems: •The transmission did not engage Park when selected. •The door-open rollaway prevention system did not activate.
The problem: At low speed below 30mph and braking simultaneously when going over rough ground (non slippery), potholes or in my accident going over a 6” drain to my garage, the ABS kicks in when it shouldn’t and the brake pedal vibrates and the vehicle lurches a bit.
The "Critical Forward Safety functions are limited" and "Radar blocked." warning messages were displayed on the instrument panel. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed and there were no injuries reported. A dealer was contacted and referred the contact to the manufacturer.
The contact stated that after the crash numerous warning lights were illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to a local dealer who determined that the front passenger side tie rod was bent and that all of the collision sensors and the ABS module and the steering column sensor needed to be replaced.
My vehicle is experiencing sudden, unprovoked engine stalling specifically during turns [Specify: e.g., when turning right from a complete stop / while coasting through a left turn at 15 mph]. When the engine stalls mid-turn, the vehicle immediately loses all power steering and braking assist.
Tail light and the back don't light up just a script on each side lights are red but the brake light work
The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V607000 (Seat Belts); however, the part to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was taken to two dealers, and the contact was informed that the parts were limited and on back order.
When slowing from 12-10 mph to a stop, the vehicle will sound as if brakes are grinding and make sudden stopping changes. Only happens at low speeds. Believed to be a software issue related to Service Campaign 9C8.
