The contact also stated that the side and front air bags failed to deploy during the crash. The vehicle was diagnosed but the cause of the air bag and acceleration failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 53,000.
When slowing down and braking the car accelerated on its own. The first time I hit the car in front of me . I had to turn the key off to get it to stop. I had bumper damage. Have had the car in 5 times for this same problem. Each time the dealer said they can find nothing wrong.
Dt: the contact complained about sudden acceleration. The problem occurred when slowing down or after the vehicle came to a complete stop. The vehicle was involved in an accident. The contact was pulling into a parking space when the vehicle accelerated and ran into a building.
While driving 10 mph the steering wheel locked. This caused the consumer to lose control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. The driver sustained minor injuries, and the vehicle was towed to the garage.
vehicle has a front rusted subframe in two spots on passenger side it will not pass inspection. it is Dangerous to keep driving it it looks like there is a recall on this issue in 04/2009, but it says 0 unrepaired recalls which is obviously not correct Manufacturer: HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY Mfr's Report Date: APR 14,…
Mechanic stated that the frame was rusted, which could affect the ability to safely operate the vehicle. I did a search and discovered that similar damage was noted in a recall 09-01-020 dated July 2009.
There is visible rust/corrosion damage of the front sub- frame of my vehicle. The front subframe has thinned at rusted location. The rusted sub-frame is chewed half of my sub-frame. I am worried that corrosion may progress and may detach from the sub-frame, eventually increasing safety risk.
