When I try to start my vehicle wherever I am the theft deterrent light on the dashboard lights up and I have to wait 10 minutes before I can start it. People that I talk to that have the same vehicle have the same problem that I have. This issue has plagued this model and the colorado's also.
Security light flashes, engine cranks, fails to start. Have to wait 10 or more minutes to reset. Still fails to start. Wait another 10 or more minutes for reset. After more than 20 minutes, it starts, maybe.
It has failed to start at least 7 times in less than 4 days. The dealership and isuzu motor corporation are clueless and to what is going on with it. I work as a truck mechanic, hooked up a diagnostic computer to it. Code is b2960, security system sensor valid but incorrect.
