What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The srs light came on in our 1996 isuzu oasis minivan. The mechanic at isuzu said it wouldn't respond to his diagnostic computer and would need to be replaced. The airbags could not be counted on to protect us in an accident. It would cost $675 for the part alone, not counting the labor charges.
Airbag light came on 4/24/02 and the dealer reset it. It came back on 5/9/02 and the dealer has said that the supplemental restraint system control module were defective and that the airbags do not work when the light were on.
When going on reverse (backing up) and I come to a complete stop the front wheels make a clicking sound that is more of a cracking sound. It feels like if the tires are going to come off. My brother whom also had a mini van like mine, except his was a 1997 honda oddissey noticed the problem before I had noticed mine.
Vehicle experienced sudden acceleration when consumer removed foot from brake pedal. Nlm
While driving at any speed the abs brake light stays on an air is getting into the brakes. Also, safety restraint system light is staying on. Vehicle has been in repair shop four times, and dealer can't determine the problem. Vehicle will be back in the shop for repair service.
