What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Engine turned off while driving with ignition switch in the run position. After stopping, I had to reinsert the key several times to get it to stay in the run position. It would start easily then stop with switch still on. Mechanic was able to reproduce the problem and replaced ignition switch, no further problems.
The car stalls while driving. This problem has started at 120,000 miles. My father-in-law had honda odyssey 1999 and at 120,000 miles experienced the same problem. My wife and I are afraid to drive the van as it may stall at any time while driving.
The air bag light is not illuminated. The contact is aware of the safety risk involved if the airbag does not deploy. The current and failure mileage were 112,000.
