What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I own a 2000 isuzu vehi cross the frame is rusting out. I bought it in 1997 it had 91,051 miles the same materials as the rodeo were used I want to be reimbursed foe the value of the car as it is unsafe to drive.
1)repeated driver's side window binding upon attempting to close. 2)repeated moisture leakage on driver's side from door post or firewall 3)repeated electrical shortage of circuit including turn-signals, back-up lamps, windows, and transmission mode selector.
Both the driver and passenger side power windows have had to be repaired due to failure of the track alignment. Upon coming in contact with an organization of several hundred vehicross enthusiasts I discovered that this type of window failure is epidemic with this model car.
I have had the power windows on both sides of the car either bind or drop down in between the door. Once even while I was driving. Fortunately for me my warranty has been covering this defect, but it seems that the "repair" does not last too long.
Passenger's side door of vehicle does not close correctly. Door will stay ajar at times, door closes but is "ofset" and whistles. Door is not flush with car.
Drivers seat track and anchors broke while consumer was sitting in vehicle. Contacted dealer, and dealer replaced seat.
