What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I rented boom-lift trailer, one piece unit, 20 miles up the hill on tollhouse road, the right tire rolled off the bead in a lt curve, the trailer flipped on it's side and went over the embankment, dragging my rear tire to the precipus. It cost me $740.00 to pull it onto the road and flatbed it to the rental site.
Near mile marker 52 on i65 sb tire 1 blew out we pulled over on the side of the interstate and changed the tire with the spare tire. We purchased a new tire to replace tire 1.
Fastec industrial is not complying with recall #13e039. They are totally unresponsive by phone and email.
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 jayco jay feather trailer. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign id number:13v-585000 (lock solenoid) several months prior but was not able to have the vehicle repaired because the dealer and manufacturer could not be contacted.
While towing the camper, we experienced multiple catastrophic tire blowouts (including 2 on the same day, tires were all new) due to the axles being out of alignment. Tire blowouts caused damage to our camper and hit vehicles traveling behind us on the road.
Formaldehyde level exceeds the mrl of 0.04ppm; formaldehyde level within trailers interior registers 0.12.
