What owners report

After thorough investigation I found a fuel leak at the lower part of the fuel tank where the pump module sits. The pump module is secured with a flange ring and 5 bolts.
2017 Duke 690 (Base model) with 5600 miles. After filling fuel tank, fuel spills out onto the rider while riding. Very noticeable smell of fuel for hours after riding on my clothes. Current recall, NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V388000 does not include my VIN.
Plastic fuel tank warps at the filler and fuel pump location. The warping causes leaks at these locations. Tank is available for inspection. Fuel tank is leaking. Fuel puddles under vehicle and could be a fire risk. Fuel tank has been replaced twice by a dealer and a recall has been performed.
The fuel tank around the filler neck insert is warped which causes fuel to splash out from under the filler neck seal.
Fuel tank leak from bottom of fuel tank at the fuel pump gasket. The fuel tank has deformed and the gas tank cannot properly seal with the gasket for the fuel pump and as a result gasoline will leak out of the bottom if the tank. The gas then drips onto the electricals as well as the top of the motor.
