What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Car parked in driveway; started engine, shifted into gear, and before I even accelerated, the engine roared and the car lunged forward. Lexus traveled approximmately 50 feet and crashed into the neighbor's concrete wall across the street.
Car keeps pulling to the right at high speed, above 40 mph. Car has been to alignment service and all tires inflated properly. This happens on every trip. Cannot diagnostic the root cause. Suspecting the Steering Rack is the issue.
You can feel the steering wheel stiffen and lock into place at highway speeds requiring some force to unbind it and turn.
