What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Exterior door-handle/ actuator mechanism when it rains or the car gets washed it goes out and doesn’t work. It could be a safety issue if ever in a critical situation and you can open the door. It’s an issue a lot of Lexus LC500 owners are having.
Car shuttered, and almost stalled while I was pulling out of the gas station. Incident was noted by Lexus Brand Engagement. Incident # XXX Also note at [dealer] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Door handle failure. Well known issue. Internal door actuator commonly fails, causing you to be unable to open the door whether you are inside or outside the vehicle. Repair is also rather expensive.
