26V222 Recall. The dealership won’t do my recall. I don’t get why they can’t give me the part and I sign a waiver for it. I’m owed a part for my car.
There’s a safety recall for a low pressure fuel pump. This recall has come out years later after the car has been bought. I am the 3rd owner. I bought the car in 2026. I bought the car with aftermarket work done on it, but I didn’t think there would be any recalls.
Research indicates this is a known problem on this vehicle but my vehicle doesn’t seem to be included in the recall The main recall for the Lexus RC200t is due to a failing low-pressure fuel pump, which can cause the engine to stall while driving.
The brake pads installed by Lexus squeak as if they need to be replaced. According to the Lexus dealer there is a service bulletin, and the fix is to replace the bad pads. I was told the brakes are fine and that the squeaking doesn't mean anything.
