After a rain the rear tail lights went out. Water is getting in the light and shorting out the lights. On line it is a known issue and Lincoln is handling it under warranty for 2024 - 2026 and listed as a safety issue. My 2022 is 3 weeks out of warranty and nothing is offered.
The following are my descriptions of the two issues: 1) In every day around town driving, mostly at lower speeds or after coasting, the transmission jerks, stutters and chugs. The sensation feels exactly like driving with a manual trans and trying to start from a stop in third gear.
The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle experienced severe, erratic shifting in all gears, transmission slippage, and hesitation. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was initially taken to an independent mechanic, where a transmission replacement was recommended.
