The anti theft system failed after 59,000 miles, locke the steering wheel and won't allow the car to start. Mercedes charges 1,800 dollars to replace it.. Needs to be recalled very dangerous.
My mechanic told me that my 2013 mercedes c250 has a timing chain/camshaft adjuster sprocket problem and that it happens a lot on these cars. I found hundreds of other people online with the same problem. It starts usually as soon as the warranty ends. The cost to fix it at the dealership is $5600.
Stopped at gas station to get gas for car as soon I was pumping gas I can smell & see gas falling on the floor right by the back passenger rear tire. Waited for dry up. Then went home parked car came back out saw a puddle of gas waited for dry up.
I have only owned the car for 4 months & the airbag light turned on. The dealership I purchased my vehicle at refuses to look at it unless I pay them first.
Sudden loss of power while trying to accelerate, engine light comes on and car goes into limp mode. Code p002. Car has 44450 miles.
My vehicle and many other mercedes benz models suffer a failed electronic ignition switch and electronic steering lock. This is a known defect amongst many models/years of mercedes benz vehicles and only a dealer can repair. The cost of repair is $1,900.
