What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The clutch slave cylinder failed which results in not being able to put the car in gear once you have stopped and placed the car in neutral. This failure happened at an intersection and caused me to not be able to proceed. One car almost slammed into me.
When braking suddenly they car goes into "ice mode" where in the brake pedal is hard and stopping power is limited.
In motion, car would not accelerate above 2500rpm suddenly. Sprocket was defective. Dealer/ manufacturer knows this is a problem, wont fix or cover under warranty.
The air bag disabled light is on when my wife sits in the passenger seat. She weighs 120lbs and is 5' 8" tall. I have taken the car to nissan several times and they say the sensor is working to spec.
A warning indicator illuminated on the key, which meant an intelligent key system or electrical steering lock system malfunction per the owner's manual. The failure occurred on more than one occasion. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue.
Last saturday, took the cover off and was going to the car wash to shine her up real good. On the way after stopping at a light I pulled off then went to 2nd gear, then to third and that when it happened. The clutch went to the floor and did not come back up.
The clear coat on the paint it's pealing off chipping off really fast I believe I'm not the only one having this same issue with the clear coat paint that the nissan 370z 2013 have.
The car was in our garage all day until I left so nothing was overheated. I had driven about 5 miles at less than 50 mph along an access road, stopping for 3 red lights. I thought it was clutching oddly, but since I hadn't driven it much, I thought it was me.
