What owners report

Airbags never deployed either. I thought I did something but got the recall notice right after my accident. Unfortunately, I had already settled with the insurance company on a payout and they took possession of the car so I have no way of verifying that this is what caused it but I honestly believe it was!
Had a severe car accident because the back right tire blew out and detreaded. Sustained from neck and back pains. Fix of the nissan pathfinder costs near $10000. Under medical evaluation.
While driving my suv I heard a loud bang, inmediatelly after that, the suv turned abruptly to the right. I tried to maintain on my lane but it was useless. The vehicle kept turning right. I pressed the brakes, and then the vehicle skidded on the wet pavement slamming the vehicle against the bridges wall.
My sixteen year old son along with my seven year old son were driving my car when car started wobbling, he lost control going approximately 60 miles an hour, over corrected and went head first into trees and the air bag did not deploy.

The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start after it was parked. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (russ darrow nissan of milwaukee, 11212 w metro auto mall, milwaukee, [ZIP], [phone]) where it was diagnosed that there was a crack in the transmission that caused the failure.
The left front strut housing has corroded and is breaking away. This seems to be similar to the following recall:campaign id #: :r1107; nhtsa #11v-244. This vehicle, however, is not registered in designated "salt states" but owned and operated within 30 miles of 2 such states.
There was extensive rust and corrosion. The dealer kept the vehicle for further diagnostic testing. The contact was eventually provided with a loaner vehicle. The dealer refused to remedy the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified and indicated that a dealer should be able to provide the remedy for the repair.
