What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Upon acceleration, the vehicle experiences dangerous rear-end swaying, fishtailing, and an immediate loss of steering wheel control. The dealership’s shop foreman test-drove the vehicle and formally verified the handling instability and swaying defect. However, management has failed to correct the safety violation.
The passenger seat belt does not reliably latch. On several occasions the belt has released on its own while the vehicle was in motion, most frequently under hard cornering.
Fuel smell in garage. Shop confirmed fuel system leak in engine compartment.
The rear hatchback window, and it will be available until Monday when we have an appointment to replace the shattered rear hatchback window. We were in the car at a stop light and the rear window literally exploded causing some glass shards to fall into the car.
No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the active-hood pop-up pyro actuators. The vehicle was not repaired.
