What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
We were in no accident, and had no warning light, or signal. My daughter was burned, and cut with flying glass, I too, was cut, as was my fiance. Our lives will never be the same. Air bags are supposed to protect not kill. Gm needs to be held responsible for malfunctions in their products.
I have had many problems over the years with my 1995 grand prix se, 6 cyl, 3.1l engine. I saw the 35 plus service bulletins and I can personally relate to these problems. My question is.
Windshield wipers have to be replaced less than 6 months and leave a smear on drivers side.
With the engine cold and while the rpms decelerate, all interior and exterior lights blink. Measurements shows that voltage drops when the rpms go from low to high and then back down. When vehicle reaches operating temperatures the problem goes away. This problem has persisted for two years.
