What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
Rear ended a vehicle, totaled car, airbags failed to deploy, broke ankle and heel.
The contact stated that while driving 10 mph, another vehicle crashed head-on into the contact's vehicle and the air bags failed to deploy. The contact mentioned that after the crash the air bag warning light illuminated. The driver from the other vehicle was taken to a hospital where there was one injury reported.
Upon impact, the air bags failed to deploy. The driver of the other vehicle sustained unknown injuries. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 9,000.
Both times, the car came to a stop with the anti-lock brakes functioning properly (brake pedal vibrations indicating correct modulation). Once the car comes to a complete stop however, the brakes suddenly failed completely. The brake pedal goes to the floor with absolutely no back pressure.
I didn't have a problem until I started it up and began to pull out of the nearby mall parking lot and as I went to press the brake, it made a low grinding noise, almost like the abs was locking up except the light wasn't on, and I was merely cruising, not even on the gas pedal.
While doing a low speed u-turn (>20mph) the spokes of my rim separated from the wheel causing the car to spin onto curb. I have yet to receive from anyone a reason for the wheel failure. These were not the stock rims but premium rims installed by the dealer.
There is an issue with all Saturn Skyâs and Pontiac Solsticeâs that cause the wiring harness for the A/C FAN to melt, or even ignite. This is the same harness that was used on 2006-2010 Hummer H3 vehicles manufactured February 5, 2005, to May 24, 2010, and 2009-2010 Hummer H3T vehicles manufactured May 21, 2008,…
Tire pressure monitoring. This spring I took my car out of storage and reconnected the battery. I first noticed the remote entry fobs no longer would lock or unlock the doors.
